I've been lurking on here for quite some time. I have searched on here and google with no results.
I need the pinout of the 10-pin ignition switch for a 2005 Dodge Neon or Chrysler PT Cruiser. This connector is on the left side of the steering column and plugs into the multiswitch. Beyond the function of each color-coded wire, I need the specific pin loactions of each wire for this connector. I do not have access to either vehicle or I would pop the column cover and look for myself.
I am using a Mopar remote start wiring harness from a 2005 Neon/PT Cruiser to install a remote start system on a 2005 Jeep Liberty. The Liberty kit is discontinued and lno longer avaiable.
The harness looks the same, but some of the wire colors are different. I want to make certain that the pin locations of this remote start wiring harness are the same, regardless of the wire color deviation.
Thanks,
Justin
Or take the harness and use a DMM on continuity to test.

Amateurs assume, don't test and have problems; pros test first. I am not a free install service.
Read the installation manual, do a search here or online for your vehicle wiring before posting.
Thanks Mark,my friend's PT cruiser has it's front fogs coming on with the lights, I need to sort it out!

Mark thank you so much for the link. That appears to have exactly the info I was looking for.

Excellent suggestion. I will certainly do that.
The only difference I can see in the Neon/PT harness is a "load reduction relay" shown in the diagram attached on one of the wires. I am not sure what this is or its purpose. The Liberty harness makes no mention of it. Perhaps I can ohm out which pins it is on and remove it if necessary. I'll know more when the kit I ordered arrives.
Thanks.
