I'm trying to figure out what type of door lock system the 1999 Chevy Tracker has. I'm trying to wire a keyless entry system. On the wiring diagram here, it says "see notes" under the door lock switch, but I see no notes. Any help would be much appreciated.

itsyuk, surely that scheme is for vehicles with existing keyless? In which case our poster's answer would be pink lock and pink/green unlock, POS going.
Relays are above the gas pedal, I just double checked!

It doesn't have a factory keyless entry system, just power locks. I'm new at this and was wondering how to wire it. Not sure if I'm going to need relays, or how to wire those if I do.

Well the first thing you have to do are to find those lock relays and test.
The easiest way is to run a DMM to each of those wires, set to 20VDC. Place black probe to ground, red to each in turn and turn the key to lock and unlock. If I'm right you will get a 12V+ reading on each cycle, if I'm wrong reverse the leads.
Alternative Snap-On bulb tester or equivalent, croc lip to a constant 12V+ source probe end to the suspected wires, this again should lock and unlock the vehicle. There lesson one in determining lock type.
Second what make and model KE and how many lock wires on your keyless entry system?
1 comment, cynical though I might be, take this to a pro, it will cost you less in the long term. I'm guessing this because from the to tone of your questions you don't know where to start.

It's a ReadyRemote Basic Remote Starter + KE Model #24923
Manual is here https://www.readyremote.com/pdf/manuals/24923.pdf

I got the starter wired up fine, I'm just a bit confused on how the logic of the different lock types work. I was just wondering if someone knew what type it was so I could shortcut testing it, as I find that the most confusing part.

Once I figure it out I'll be able to wire it without much problems, I'm sure.

You just proved the point of my last post.
LOOK AT MY BOTTOM LINES.
This is what you do.
Buy a DEI 451 relay module. It plugs straight in to your lock socket.
Purple and PURPLE / black to a constant source, RED / white at the relays above the pedal.
GREEN/ black to pink.
Blue/black to pink/green.
BROWN / black and WHITE/ black not used.
On your head if you don't test.

the schematics i posted are the ONLY schematics for that vehicle from the actual GM service disc.

the relays are above the accelerator pedal.

is there a chance you are not the original owner and it had RKE and you just dont have remotes for it?

RKE reciever is near the column on the firewall.

here is a looking up view of it and a view like if the dash was gone.
