Note on Parking Light wire reads: YOU MUST DIODE ISOLATE THIS WIRE OR THE ACCESSORIES WILL POWER UP WHEN THE PARKING LIGHTS FLASH.

I noticed that the harness comes with 2 blue wires.  One of them is an amp turn on wire. The rear speakers may be amplified. The Blue/White wire is the amp turn on wire.  You may have to plug the OEM radio back in and use a volt meter to find the amp turn on wire at the OEM harness.  Then insert the Blue/White wire into the appropriate slot of the Metra harness so it can turn the amp on.

The rear speakers are amplified, either regular or Bose, back in the pre-2000 ISO days we had two types of amplified adaptors, for regular and Bose. Don't Scosche or Metra allow for that?
On the alarm use comfort control or extend the lock pulse by other means ( timed aux output) to close windows and roof.

Metra had only the non amplified plug listed for that vehicle.  It does come with the Antenna and Amp Remote wires not inserted into the harness.  I know that they use the same plug for some Benz models as well. I think that the amp remote and the power antenna wires are in different locations per brand of vehicle.  That is why I suggested plugging the OEM radio back in and see where he needs to insert the Blue/White wire in the aftermarket harness.

These are the pin outs for most quadlock (MOST) plugs.
This one is Audi specific:-audi-rns-e-1.gif.
I may have loaded it twice! Looking at rear of head unit with plug removed.
Look at the two thin plugs at the bottom, right hand marked C:Ext connector.
Pin 5 is + line out, RL; Pin 6 phone speaker + input;
Pin 8, line out common; pin 11 + line out, RR, pin 12, phone speaker input, -.
Note the NC on left two at the top, these are the rear speaker connections if not amplified. At a guess, U14 St. DSP is the switched amp trigger.

Craig, see my last post, it's Audi specific because you're absolutely right about pin convention not being adhered to but that's car manufacturers for you. Nowadays over here only Ford has an ACC.
There's also info for you on Bluetooth integration, now you know why Parrot etc. have line out as well as speaker outputs!
Over here I can get adaptor plugs for Bluetooth "fully populated" suits all M/Benz, VW, (Audi and Porsche) and BMW from 05.
I also have a collection of plugs to suit that lower right slot, doesn't half save time.

Off thread slightly but see how the Fraud (UK)* version differs:-

*May not be the case now, Fiesta, Focus, and now UK Mondeo = Ford Fusion.
