We have a 2002 Camaro with a Monsoon system. I hooked up new radio with a Metra harness and it sounds like crap I put the original back in and it sounds fine.

Is there a simple way to use the stock Monsoon amp with a Aftermarket head unit? I read other post but it doesn't seem totally clear. Is there an amp turn on wire or does it sense voltage over the speaker wires to turn on? Thanks for any info I can get.

The blue wire of the 70-1858 is the amp turn on wire.
