Hi,
I'm looking for help in wiring this Hyundai Car Radio Cassette into my old Mazda truck. Can anyone point out the function of the terminals in the pictures?
Hyundai Model # is H-900XG. Part Number 96150-25100.
I tried a Google search on this model,but came up with nothing. This radio appears in good order & I still play a lot of tapes,some of which are 33 years old.

Thanks for your help,

Do you know what vehicle the radio came out of? Year and Model if you know it. Your pictures did not show up.

Try the Metra or Scosche sites search for the Hyundai model you removed it from and something like loom repair kit. You should then be able to patch it to the Mazda.
Metra, OEM radio harnesses covers Hyundai from 89-now. Pages 1 and 2.

Thanks for the replies.

I can't locate the car that the radio came from. I assume it's a 90s Accent,Elantra ,etc.I contacted Hyundai Australia,but no reply yet.

Most of the advice I have is from the car loom end,but I need to identify the terminals on the radio.I tried to upload 2 small pictures from my PC,but no luck. I will try to upload from my webpage & see if they show up.Will post them as soon as possible...

Thanks,

Jim

By the way that loom should be colour coded, if not here's the breakdown, not all of the colours I list will be on the actual loom.
Yellow = 12V+ constant
Red = 12V+ ACC/Ign.
Orange = 12V+ Illumination**
Black = Ground/Earth* (-)
Blue = Antenna remote**
White = L/F+
WHITE/ black = L/F-
Grey = R/F+
Grey/Black = R/F-
Green = L/R+
GREEN/ Black = L/R-
Violet = R/R+
Violet/Black = R/R-
There might also be a mute input wire (for phone use) unknown colour**
*Do they still use the English term"earth" in Oz or have they gone to ground? Sorry couldn't resist it, yes and OHM MG I realised as I was typing the rest but it was a genuine question.
** May not be present, not needed in original set-up.

Uh-Oh, she turned back. But we are not in any real danger. Maybe the12volt will not be able to ride his bike for a couple days. But I should be fine.

He is near, but I gave BAD info about storm having turned around. Some other idiot posted what was one of the earlier projected paths, and this idiot thought it had changed course. We are all fine, she is in the Atlantic just a churning away.
