I already has a wonderful immobiliser why do you need another?
Red, black and RED / black.
Alternatively remove steering column housing and test.
If anything like the other VWs it's a PITA to remove.

Hi, I think I spoke with you before? Car finance immobiliser??
Been told this may need a relay on the starter cut as the device needs to see a neg from the starter?

OK, you should get a constant neg on the motor side unless starter is engaged.
