WARNING
On all VAG group cars, VW,Audi, Porsche and in Europe SEAT and Skoda.
Under NO circumstances disconnect anything with the ignition switched on.
I know it's been mentioned before but I always thought it a bit of an urban myth though I knew about not disconnecting the passenger seat airbag key switch.
In this case it was "only" the passenger airbag on-off warning light on the radio trim surround, I thought it was nothing...WRONG.
As a rule apply this to EVERY CAR after 2008.
I was a lucky, a friend has the diagnostic equipment but I still had to make a return trip in the evening to clear it.

-------------
Amateurs assume, don't test and have problems; pros test first. I am not a free install service.
Read the installation manual, do a search here or online for your vehicle wiring before posting.
