Hello everyone. I need some help. I would like an updated Alarm/Remote Start Wiring Diagram for a 1996 VW Polo 1.6 3 door. The one currently available is incomplete and I need detailed wiring info for my installation. My car is Left Hand Drive and in Portugal. I am installing a Viper 5701 Alarm and Remote Start. I will also be installing the DEI 530T Window Automation unit and the DEI 545T Night Lite system and the Rain Tracker RT-50A windshield wiper control system. Also, does anyone know if this car has a Transponder? I'm asking because I see a black wire leading to the key cylinder of the ignition. Any help would be appreciated. Thank You! posted_image

Sorry, corrections to my PM
12v+ = red
Ign. 1 = black
Ign. 2 =BLACK / YELLOW
Starter =RED / black
ACC = BROWN / red

Lock = grey/red (+)
Unlock = grey/black (+)

Brake light = BLACK/ red at the switch
Wipers are at the module above the fusebox, NOT the steering column.
H/lamps are yellow and white primary colours steering column loom (+), TEST for which is which.
You WILL need a 556UW and a spare key.
Window control is a PITA you will need 2 x extra relays. It's a type "B" system.

Update, headlights are white and yellow, side lights are grey/black and grey/red all POS (+) at lighting switch or steering column loom.
Wipers are green or green red (+) at steering column loom.

You can go that way but read the 530t instructions, bottom page 4 and the diagram, top of page 5, it's more simple.
