Could anybody please provide me which pin on the OEM radio unit is responsible for audio control input (2009/2010 Vibe GT) should come as a standard equipment?

There should be instructions with whatever swc interface you are going to use.

PAC and Axxess Interface (makers of audio integration modules) state the steering wheel controls would use Pins 4 & 5 on Connector 1 (Plug A)

Just like "i am an idiot" said, the instructions for what wire goes to those pins would come with the interface module.

Sorry gentlemen, I should explain what is my project is all about. I am driving a base Vibe without audio control. It is a project to install the steering audio control on a base model head unit. Nobody had done that before. I understand I could go with the SWC route, perhaps I could do that at the future. Therefore I have no access to SWC installation instructions.

I have my new clock spring installed.Control pad ready, Now All I need is to wire properly from steering wheel control pad to the head unit.

I sent a request to Delphi OEM tech support Wednesday for pin diagram. They got back to me this morning and I attached it on this tread as well for future reference. I did poke around in various site and could not find anything. My GM dealer is a brick and not willing to help me out letting me to look at their Mitchell wiring diagram.

Please note that according to the earlier post. " Plug A" in my diagram is labeled at "B" on the Delphi diagram.

Thanks,

These are 10 cents Delphi terminal for Micro 64 plugs, even though they are gold plated, dealer in here marked up to 4 dollars each. posted_image

I ended up brought 50 pcs from Mouser Electric. With shipping only cost 13 bucks in total should be here by next week.

Were you able to get the project done? I'm trying to do the exact same thing with a 2010 Pontiac Vibe Base. what is the part number on the clockspring? I already have the steering wheel
