I currently am installing a Carvox 3308X6-C car alarm and am having trouble with the locking. The alarm remote will only unlock and not lock. I have verified the blue wire in the kick panel and have tested. Just like the unlock wire there is no positive pulse untill the door button is pushed. Then returns to rest at ground. I have programed the alarm remote for Single and double pulse, but no change. Do I need relays installed for this? The alarm has both positive and negative pulse for Lock/Unlock so I am assuming no.

If the 3308X6-C does a (+) (-) lock output, I would add a diode in-line ( band towards the R/S ).  The Civics
locks are plain Type B (-), no relays are needed.   If you are sure you have the correct wire, try jumping it
briefly to chassis ground.  That will cause a Lock.  Here is some more info from Ready Remote :

Power Lock          Blue (-)        @ driver kick, door harness, 23 pin plug, pin 16
Power Unlock      Gray (-)        @ driver kick, door harness, 23 pin plug, pin 20

Soldering is fun!

I did have the wrong wire, but I isolated them as you said. in the kick harness there are two blue wires, one at pin 21 and 16. the larger gauge at pin 21 is for the lock motor. the smaller gauge maybe 22 awg is for the - door output. my mistake as I had the larger blue hooked up. it would be nice to see some gauge clarification on wiring diagrams. This would be nice for conns you can't get to for pinout.

thanks for your help kreg357
