I am only finding info for remote start but need a wire to interrupt for starter kill.
Can I use this?
There is a WHITE/ blue (to white) wire and a WHITE/ yellow (to WHITE/ black) wire at the BCM, gray plug, pins A14 and A42, that performs the following: key sense, second ignition, starter, and
Passlock resistance.

If starter-kill is real important, you should run wires into the engine compartment and use a relay on this wire.
Starter      Purple (for starter kill only)  (+)     @ starter or underhood fuse box, Black 68 pin plug, pin E2

By real important are you saying there is a better way? Does not have to be starter kill specifically. Anything that prevents starting will work.

Then add a hood padlock to kreg's suggestion.

There's no better way than either of the above two suggestions.

Amateurs assume, don't test and have problems; pros test first. I am not a free install service.
Read the installation manual, do a search here or online for your vehicle wiring before posting.

You really didn't state your purpose or what you are installing with your Starter-Kill question.

Literal Starter-Kill requires interrupting the vehicles Starter wire.  The newer GM vehicles do not have a standard,
classic Starter wire at the ignition switch typically found in most vehicles.  This makes adding Starter-Kill a bit more
challenging.  The Colorado does have built-in Anti-Grind and the Passlock2 ignition immobilizer system.  With those
two items already in place, most installers will not bother with the additional Starter-Kill feature.   Cut vehicle wires
and extra relays ( especially in the engine compartment ) only add to possible points of failure.

The Passlock2 system is a pretty good theft deterrent system.  It does not prevent the starter from cranking but
does interrupt the fuel supply system.  While Passlock2 can be bypassed by the thief, it would take several minutes.
In that amount of time, a thief can easily find a Starter-Kill circuit / relay and jumper around it.

If you are installing a R/S alarm system like the Viper 5704 on your 2007 Colorado, you won't be connecting either
of the H3/4 or H3/5 starter wires to the truck.

Most all installers will warn against adding a kill circuit that affects anything other than the Starter circuit.  If a
Kill circuit on the vehicles ignition failed while driving, the loss of power / control could easily cause an accident.

I am aware of non traditional ignition harness but am installing an alarm specifically because the passlock has failed in the truck and am told it is a dealer only repair. I wanted something to prevent it from being started easily, no interest in a remote start. I am using a Viper 3203 and will just use the purple wire as suggested, thanks.

In that case, the Starter-Kill is a good idea.  Depending on how you are doing the Passlock2 work-around, you could
incorporate that into another security circuit with the Ground When Armed output.  Just keep all your wiring stealthy
to make theft more difficult.  ( You could even go with a R/S alarm system and set it up with a Passlock2 bypass so
it would only start with the R/S FOB's.)
