Hello all, I have 2012 Camry with a push button start switch and I am wanting to install a GPS tracker only three wire hook up 12V+,Ground,12v+ ignition sense. My question is where can I locate the 12V ignition sense wire. I am comfident that I can find the 12V+ all the time wire and the ground just not sure about the 12v only when the key is on source.( because it dont have a key) just the momentary push button. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Skidatyl

Grey wire on the Radio harness is an Accessory wire. It will be hot with ignition and when the key is in the Acc position.

it is also a black wire in the driver kick panel driver kick, gray 20 pin plug, pin 11

or a pink wire behind the fuse box dash fuse box, rear, white 56 pin plug (3A), pin 27

Thanks guys for the replies. tTe GPS unit is supposed to arrive Thursday. I think I will try to locate the wire in the kick panel or the one behind the fuse panel the installation manual said to try to avoid using the radio wires because of possible noise issues.

Thanks

Ok my unit came in and I am ready for the install. I was wondering if there was an always hot and a ground wire available in the gray 20 pin plug or the white 56 pin plug that tonanzith mentioned? iI would make the install go alot easier and cleaner if there was.

Thanks

Thanks for the quick reply tonanzith. Where is the pink wire behind the fuse box dash fuse box, rear, white 56 pin plug (3A), pin 27 in relationship to the above mentioned white hot wire?

on the opposite side that the fuses are on.. should be rear facing the firewall. kind of a pain to get to. there is also a black ignition wire in the driver kick panel.
