Hi I am currently in the process of wiring a 2009 nissan sentra ser for a remote start.
I am using a nustart cm4200 remote start module and a fortin evo-can bypass.
I have a few questions: Do i need to connect the door pin status/trunk/hand brake status for the remote starter or the bypass?
The GWR wire do i just connect it from the bypass to the remote starter or does it go to ground as well?
The bypass says to hook up an "At driver door pin wire" for autolight shutdown, do i need to hook that up and if so where is it on my car?

Thank you for your help.
Jason

1.

Depends. Does the Sentra have an automatic transmission or a manual transmission. The CM4200 is not an alarm system but
the door, trunk status and hand brake ( emergency brake ) are mandatory if you are setting it up for a manual transmission.
The EVO-ALL makes it easy for you by providing these signals, if you need them.

2.

The CM4200's GWR output will only be connected to the EVO-ALL Dark Blue Ground When Running input wire.

3.
The bypass says to hook up an "At driver door pin wire" for autolight shutdown, do i need to hook that up and if so where is it on my car?
If you want / need AutoHeadlight Shutdown connect the EVO-ALL Pink/Black wire to this wire in your Sentra :
Door Trigger     Lt. Blue (-)      @ driver kick, harness to rear or at BCM, (WHITE, 15-PIN PLUG), PIN 7 ( BCM is behind glove-box )
If you have AutoHeadlights and remote start your car at night with the headlight switch inn the auto position, then either let it
time out without getting in or use your FOB to remotely shut it down, the cars headlights will stay on until a door is opened...

Soldering is fun!

Yeah it's an auto transmission. Thank you for your reply you answered all my questions and made it a lot easier for me since I don't need to connect all those extra wires. Thanks.
