Ordered a Viper 4103 a while back to install on my commuter car. Did a lot of research on the wiring diagrams and wired her up this am. Unfortunately, as car savvy as I am, I'm afraid im stumped with this one.

The led flashes steadily. When the start button on the remote is hit, you hear the main box click but the car never attempts to start.

I do have quite a few wires not attached as this car is a base model and has no factory remote doors or alarm system. Not exactly sure what the heck the satellite harness does!!

I apologize if this post seems out of turn, still trying to learn about these systems.

This is the way she is configured:

Main harness (H1) 9 pin:
Light GREEN/ black - - 200ma factory alarm disarm output **not wired**
GREEN / WHITE- -200ma factory alarm rearm output **not wired**
Yellow - + ignition out (to alarm) **not wired**
WHITE/ blue - - activation input **not wired**
Orange - -500ma ground when locked/anti grind output **not wired**
Brown - horn **not wired**
RED / white - trunk release **not wired**
Black - grounded
WHite - wired to green wired (marker lights)

Remote start harness (H3) 5 Pin
Bk/white - wired to neutral safety switch
Violet white - wired to RED / blue tach wire
Brown - wired to brake switch
Gray - hood switch
blue white - -200ma 2nd status/rear defogger output **not wired**

Heavy gauge relay 6 pin
Pink - bk/white @ ign harness
Purple - Red + @ ign harness
Orange - blue/red @ ign harness
Red - white @ ign harness
Pink/white - **not wired**
Red - white @ ign harness

Satellite harness
Blue - -200 ma status ouput **not wired**
orange - -200ma accessory output **not wired**
purple - -200ma starter output **not wired**
pink - -200ma ign output **not wired**

door lock 3 pin
light blue **not wired**

Looks like you did not supply power to the Corolla's Ignition2 wire.

Use the thick Pink/White wire and connect it to the Corolla's  BLACK / YELLOW (+)  @ IGNITION SWITCH HARNESS.

The Factory Default setting for that Pink/White wire is Ignition2, so no need for a programming change.

Thanks, running out now and giving that a shot.

Tried the pink/white connected to the bk / YELLOW. Still no good. When remote button is pressed, I do hear the control box click but no power is sent to the starter wire. I double checked my neutral safety and hood switch, both are good.

The 4103 clicking could be important if it is flashing out an error code. Try the "Shutdown Diagnostics" to see the error code.

Did you set the 4103 to Tach Mode ( Menu2, Feature 1, Option 4 ) and do a Tach Learn?

If you have an automatic transmission, you can connect the Neutral Safety wire directly to chassis ground. If you want a Valet Mode switch, you can install
the supplied switch in the Neutral Safety line to chassis ground and make sure the switch is set to ON.
