Hi, im installing a Model 24921 remote ready starting unit on a 2001 Buick century, i have a little confusion in regards to attaching the wire from the aftermarket harness to the neutral safety switch wire.
H3/1 BLACK/ WHITE (-) NEUTRAL SAFETY SWITCH INPUT
In most applications the neutral safety wire should be attached to a chassis ground. This does not apply to
vehicles that crank the starter while the transmission is in gear.
Is that correct ? and just place the toggle switch inline??
Or should it jump off a specific wire between the ignition and the neutral safety switch on the transmission.
Im a little confused. Any help is appreciated. thanks in advance.

Connect the wire to ground if the vehicle is an automatic. Test the vehicle by attempting to remote start the car, AS OUTLINED, on page 18 of the install guide.   Testing the neutral safety switch.
