I'm going to install a Backup Camera in a 2004 GMC Envoy. To avoid tapping into the wiring at the lamp, I wanted to know if you could tell me the color and wire location near the Head Unit or center console. Also, I have a Kenwood DVD receiver. Do you recommend using a Kenwood Backup camera or would another brand/model be a better choice for the money. Thanks for any help!

actual GM schematic might lead you to the wire you need.
