I cannot find my VSS wire for my 2001 focus. I need color and location please.

I haven't done many focuses but here's my input. The WHITE/ green at the radio definately sounds easier so if it's there and works, go for it! From what I've done I used a WHITE/ purple. You can find it at the computer in the passenger kick panel. It's not in the harness coming down the kick panel which also has a WHITE/ purple. You have to go higher up to the computer harness. Position 28 of that 104 pin connector. I pull the bolt out in the middle and pull the connector down so you can see everything and count to the exact pin. Like I said the radio idea sounds a lot easier so check there first!
