Hello Guys,

I am trying to get help with my 08 accord, I installed a Python system inside of it. Everything works fine, I am trying to get help with locating the lock/unlock wires for me to connect the remote start lock/unlock wires into.

I heard I have to remove the door panel, is this true? and do I have to do anything extra besides stripping the wires and connecting the remote start wires to it ?

Any Pictures/ Instructions on where I can find these wires would help.

Thank you

The simplest way would be to add a DB-ALL or DB-ALL2, roughly 6 wires on the alarm and 3 from the DB (wired D2D), takes care of locks bypass etc. Go to Xpresskit.com look up your make. year and model, download the wiring info (install guide).

I will look into this option. What if I want to stick to what I already have Pythin Remote start + Fortin SL3 Bypass module. Taking off the door cover and tapping in the respective wires with the remote start lock/unlock wire works ?

Thank You

Looks like you are in luck.  Here is a post from a senior forum member on the exact same vehicle :
https://www.the12volt.com/installbay/file.asp?ID=851
While he used a CAN module to handle the door locks and alarm, he did include info & photo's on the actual
wires inside the door panel starting at Page 17.

Thanks, Ted!    posted_image

Life could not be more perfect haha. Thank you man, one last clarification please, I somewhat understand what he's explaining in regards to the "diode" portion, but if possible, could someone break down is description in dummy terms for me haha. Thanks.

"Here is a close-up, on the bottom row; there is the white, brown and orange wire.
You will use 2 diodes to isolate the WHITE and BROWN (-) wires. These are the disarm and unlock wires.
A single pulse will disarm the alarm; and a double pulse will unlock all doors. To diode isolate, use this
diagram or basically put the silver band on the diode away from the alarm wires and towards the wires
on the car."

Funny I did an 05 Accord today, old school, had to find indicators, data at the steering column so floor loom for them, lock and unlock in the driver's door, no unlock wire but the pin was there. Also no factory hood switch but I managed to find doors and trunk.
Did keysense and safelock so you could fire up the RS when the alarm and factory alarm were on and unlock from the Viper fob whilst the engine was running.
Quite proud of myself!

Old school means hard wiring everything plus a 556 for the by-pass.
Not recommended especially as the UK version subtly changes wiring colours and locations.
Only really for super experienced installers.
