The parking lights and dash lights must be independent of each other. I have a 545t to turn the lights on using a light sensor, just need to tie in my dash lights now.

Maybe the dash lights only work with ignition have you checked?

Yes, to activate the 545 the key has to be on. I may be able to find the wire that goes to the cup holder or something and see if that will feed the dash, I'll just put a diode on it.

No you'll need a relay to feed the dash lights other wise you might have problems with the engine or body management ECU reading a fault. Wire the relay as "5 wire" look at the relay section.

Found a wire going to the mirror control, it comes on with the dash lights but feeding it 12v does not activate my dash lights. I'm not sure where else to look, the lights use the stalk on the wheel and unplugging almost every plug does not turn the lights off until I kill what I think is the power feed to the wheel. May have to find a OEM wiring diagram to figure out how it's getting power.

Probably multiplexing NEG or data feeds, keep feeding them 12 volts and see what it costs you. Use a DMM. How about a panel lights dimmer.

I tested it before with my DMM and it had 12v on it so I knew 12v wouldn't hurt it. The dimmer is also built into the stalk.

Then take me advice, relay break either the feed or the output as a 5 wire.

I will add a relay, I'm just concerned I won't be able to find the wire and it's all controlled Via can or bus?

Found one plug on the back of the stalk that when I unplug it, the lights and wipers both come on.

There is more than one way to skin a cat! I took the stalk apart and found the physical contact inside and soldered on to those, used the relay to make the contact and good to go!
