I have a 2001 Nissan pathfinder that I am trying to install a leftover remote start in. I found the wiring diagram and followed it perfectly. To bypass the chip key I put one inside the steering column. I know this works because the non chip keys start the vehicle no problem. The problem is the remote start triggers the starter but something is holding out the vehicle from actually firing up. Please help me figure out what I'm missing. I figure it must be a security thing but I thought the key hidden under the column would solve my problems. Thank you

Are you aware that you need starter and 3 ACC wires powered up to R/S this vehicle?
Your used R/S, any idea what brand?
