I just installed Viper 5101V and Dball2 with D2D connection and all works well except remote start.. It starts 3 times and shuts off after each start.. Error code 3 flashes Low or no RPM, I programmed Learning Tach, but not needed for Virtual Tach, which what I am doing. I even tried a w2w connection on (light blue on coil) but that made my hummer misfire). So I am trying virtual and reset that still no luck..I connected all the blue highlight and all the recommended ball2 ... also used a relay for the starter kill connected to ignition switch WHITE/ green pin 4 and starter kill works well.. So I need to figure out this Low/No RPM with virtual Tach . Hummer H3 2009 automatic

If I'm not mistaken, your H3 has "one-touch" starting.  That is where you can turn the key to START and quickly release it
back to ON and the ECM will continue to crank the engine as long as is required to get it running.  If that is the case, why
not set the Viper to Engine Checking = Fixed with the default Crank Time = 0.6 seconds.

The only benefit lost would be the Over Rev protection provided by the Viper if you were in Tach Mode operation.

As a side note, I would not have the Starter Kill circuit connected to the H3's Ignition wire.  Bad idea for a couple of reasons.
First, don't you already have the Vipers Pink IGN1 wire connected there?  Second, you don't want to have a problem with
the Viper that could kill the H3's main Ignition circuit while doing 70 on the Interstate.  If you really want the Starter Kill
feature, use this wire :  Starter  purple (for starter kill only)  (+)    @ starter or under-hood fuse box, top, white 2 pin plug, pin 1

Try Menu 3, Item 1 to Option 3.  That's the Fixed crank time setting.  Still assuming that you have "one touch" starting on the H3.

Was reading the owners manual and it says computer controlled cranking system as you said, so I will make the changes and see what happens, fingers crossed. Thank You for your advice. As well I am using dball2 and D2D connection

With the DB-ALL2, it should be flashed with the GM5 firmware.  Follow the Type 2 install diagram.  If going D2D, all of the
dashed Blue lines are handled by the D2D harness connection.  Only the solid Black lines must be hard wired.

Did the DB-ALL2 program properly ( with good LED indications ) to the H3?

It seems the DB-all2 worked fine, just the remote start and the factory alarm going off on the first try of remote start.. I flashed it on the website, it said successful.
