I really need both wiring diagrams for each radio. Thank you
Replies: Posted By: nsboudreaux29 Date Posted: July 18, 2016 at 10:26 AM I made a mistake in the original post. Current non touchscreen radio has 3 white plugs, (20-pin, 32-pin, and 8-pin). The navigation radio I am trying to swap to has 2 white plugs (existing 20-pin, and a 24-pin)

My brother-in-law wanted me to hook up new speakers and a sub in his 2017 Altima. I had to dope out the head unit because he wanted to maintain functionality with it. It's been a while since I've installed a system, but we got it to work via high/low converter. Problem is, it won't turn off now. I hooked up the remote leads for the amps and line converter to what is labeled as the "pink radio ignition" wire. Can this not be used as a remote turn-on lead? Was I supposed to splice into something else? Any help would be much appreciated.

Posted By: greyscout Date Posted: November 16, 2017 at 5:40 PM I don't have the specifics. All I remember is that the sub amp is Fosgate Power, the speaker amp is Alpine, and the converter is off-brand. All of these parts were once in my vehicle and functioned as if they did not have a signal sensor to turn on. Does the pink ignition wire supply a constant 12v charge? I thought about using the "factory amp turn-on (white)" wire, but didn't see one. Maybe I overlooked it, but I guess that would make the most sense to use? Thanks for the reply, btw.
