Hi all,

Does anybody have the wiring diagram for the Honda HRV/Vezel 2015/2016?

I'm trying to install the scuff plates/door sill illumination. I need to locate the Dome lighting wiring at each door and tap on both the +12 and the ground.

better still if somebody has a diagram or info for all other wiring. I'm sure it will come in very handy in the near future.

Thanks in advance!

Thank you very much!
So i'm guessing that i should be looking for a 12V at the door area and connect the ground to the brown wire (DOOR TRIGGER)?

It's best to pull your 12v positive from a Battery feed and Fuse the 12v lead so you won't be overloading any circuits that you would try and connect too. .

I managed to find time today to install the scuff plates. To confirm, the Purple wire for Dome light supervision is a PURPLE / White one.

However, it seems that the current going through it is so small that it doesn't even trigger the relay that i was planning to use. I'm using a 30A relay with pins:

12V   = 86 & 85 as trigger
Ground= 30
NC = 87A
NO = 87

Any ideas?

If the scuff plates are LEDs you wont need a relay.
Having said that you wired the relay all wrong.
Purple to 86
Ground to 85
Power input 5 amp fused to 30
12V+ to lights at 87.
Ground to other side of lights.
Don't use 87a

Thanks for the reply. I wired it the same way as you mentioned. The post above was me trying hard (bad probably did a bad job) to explain the pin out of the relay i was using.

I tried to trigger the relay using the purple at 86, and ground at 85. I SHOULD hear a ticking sound, but it didn't occur. When i connected 86 to 12V, the ticking sound is heard.

Any idea why this is happening? Could it be that the current on the purple is too weak? When i tried to power the LEDs directly from the purple cable, the light was really weak. Or did i get the wrong purple cable :|

Try linking 30 to 86 and brown at dash fuse box (see above) to 85.
