Im trying to hook up a stereo that plugs into a 2014 soul base factory harness. My 2017 has a different factory harness. I want to splice together a 70-7036 & 71-7034 which will convert my 2017 harness to a 2014 harness which will plug into the new radio. My only real concern is the steering wheel control wires.

70-7306 and 71-7304 You transposed the 30 in your earlier.

Yeah, I understand there are metra harnesses available. I am requesting the actual wiring diagrams for a 2014 and 2017 KIA Soul Base with wire and pin specifics so I can match up the 3 steering wheel control wires correctly. Thank you!

This is a link to the metra instructions to install a steering wheel control module on the 14. They do not yet have instructions for the 17.

I thought you were purchasing a factory unit. Ever hear the phrase "You get what you pay for" The instructions are for non nav vehicles. On the left side of the page reenter the vehicle and select with nav if that is the case.

If anyone new can identify the wires on the black plug on the metra 70-7306 harness,
I would appreciate it. Please see image. The black connector is designed to plug into a ASWC-1 which I do not need. I only need to identify SWC Key 1 and SWC Key 2 to connect to the new head unit.
