Hello all, I am looking for stereo wiring info on a 2019 Honda Insight with the premium audio (450w 10 speaker system). Any diagrams, amp location details, etc is much appreciated. Please note it is probably the same as the new Accord or Civic with the same 450w system but that is unconfirmed.

I need to locate the factory amp and wiring schematics so i can integrate an amp and add a sub. Don't want to just at a LOC to the factory sub wires the quality is never the same as getting a full range input

If it has an amplifier and a factory sub, the sub is the only driver that will play the frequencies you are looking for.

Directechs has no audio info for that vehicle. Does it have a subwoofer? If so, the wires there are the only ones that will do what you are trying to do.

Thank you for looking. It does have a factory sub and amp. Its likely the same as the 2018 accord or civic, they use the same system. Amp location is a good start. I found a tip its behind the passenger kick panel so I'll have to inspect that. I'm considering a full blown system with DSP. The factory amp controls everything though from beeps/warnings, navigation audio, hands free audio, etc. Found this attached chart. So all channels would have to remain the same including the center channel. Still exploring options, but just gathering resources now. Its a 10 speaker system.... Front door mids, front door tweeters, back doors, back deck, 1 sub amd 1 center. Sounds decent, but lacks mid and bass greatly.

Hi I also own a 2019 Insight EX, which doesn't comes with a factory sub, but I want to add one I just need the stereo wiring diagram and also instruction where to pry so I can get to the stereo without breaking the trim, any help really appreciated.

Hey yall,
I been experimenting with my 2019 Insight, I finally discover how to remove the stock infotainment and have added an amp and added all 4 kicker speakers and added some tweeters to my sound system it really sounds great now...
