Hello, this is my first time posting to this forum.

I was recently had a frontend collision on the Driver's side of the vehicle with a guardrail. After the crash the speedometer no longer worked and the transmission would not shift out of first gear. I suspected that the issue was a wiring malfunction with the speed sensors or the speed sensors themselves failed. I've been trying to find the wiring information on the sensors feeding into the transmission but have had no luck finding them. Does anyone have this information?

I have excess wire lying around and some splicers to fix the sensor wires if it's broken wires and would like to try that first before ordering new speed sensors for the car.

Since you're looking for wiring here, it sounds like you came out of the crash with no serious injuries, so that's good.

Hi geepherder,

Thank you so much for this website and the pdf. This was a ton of help! It will also help my grandfather with his electrical car troubles too and give him something to do in his retirement haha.

The crash wasn't too bad and could have been much worse (guardrail was on the side of a cliff with a frozen river at the bottom). I busted the driver side headlight and bent part of the frame but that was fixable with some elbow grease and a spare headlight I had after having replaced the headlights once due to them getting cloudy. Will need to buy a 3rd driver's headlight though to replace the now busted "new" headlight.
