Hey Guys.

I'm looking to add a subwoofer to a 2019 Buick Encore Preferred model. It does not have the Bose system, but does have the amp behind the passenger rear seat, which looks like a Bose amp. Anyway the very few diagrams I have found don't seem to match what I have. Wondering if anyone has one for a 2019. Also any tips on the active noise cancelling? I see defeat modules for sale and some say to tap the signal before the amp and the ANC circuitry.

Thanks in advance.

So looking at the photos I can see the wires that match what you posted, only difference is the the plug is black not green.

Question, would you tap the speakers or the "sub" for adding a subwoofer, like a bazooka tube or something mildly amp'ed?

Also any tops on the ANC?

As always, this place is great, thank you.

Take a picture of the plugs on your amplifier and post them. I can probably help you with the ANC if I see the photos.

Catch the subwoofer wires. The door speakers are crossed over. The only place to get low frequency is from the sub wires.

I posted some pics, sorry for the huge size. I have more close ups of the plugs but didn't want to clutter the post with too many huge pics. Let me know of you need the others close up.

This vehicle has the ANC "frisbee" on the spare tire if that helps at all. It is not a Bose system, but looks like it has the Bose amp and the Bose ANC but I am not sure. There is very little info out there on an Encore. Not many people adding bass LOL

That is not the amplifier I am familiar with. I know it is not a Terrain, nor is it the same vehicle, but the following video may help you. Should be similar.

Thank you very much. Yeah I saw that video, my problem is I understand there is an RPM signal to the AMP as well so not just the mics. I have seen where a few people posted they tapped inputs on the amp instead of outputs and t works, but that was a 2017 I think and it is a little different.

Thank again for all your help, I guess I will just have to figure this one out the old fashioned way, trail and error
