2004 Audi A6 Quattro, Head Unit, Camera

      I have attempted to install a headunit and reverse camera on a 2004 Audi A6 Quattro. I used a relay to grab acc power for the radio and that works fine, however the reverse camera had been causing issues. On 1st attempt I used 1 wire to trigger and ran another wire for power to camera from acc relay. The reverse camera triggers randomly without the vehicle being in reverse, but triggers on and off normally with the gear switching. Upon switching to reverse I get a beep and a service light. Using the high end scan tool the client(used car dealer) had we found that the engine started misfiring and has a rough idle. The axxess aswc-1 module is throwing a code to the vehicle although wired according to the diagram and functioning as it should. 2nd attempt I cut the trigger wire to the hu and wired it to a relay and the same issue is occurring. Is there something I need to add to get it to work with this vehicle? Is there something I’m missing here? The factory radio had some sort of iPod adapter harness connected and some of the connections had been spliced into that and aren’t connected anymore. From the wire labels it shows they are only speaker connections, yet the vehicle has the Bose system and the harness is using rca inputs for signal.
