I want to bypass the Variable voltage control system to supply my 3 batteries with around 14 volts of charge constantly. The alternator only supplies 12.9 volts and it only goes to 14 volts if the windshield wiper is turned on or if the temperature is freezing. If I disconnect the battery sensor on the negative terminal of the battery will that allow the alternator to output 14 volts consistently? Also would that mean that the alternator will be giving more power for my amps? More importantly would disconnecting the clip on in the image below disrupt or damage any other systems in the car? posted_image
