New user looking for information on receiver wiring for my 2018 Mazda3 without the Bose head unit. I'm planning on adding an amp and cannot find a wiring diagram for this particular year anywhere. I'm assuming that the wire colors don't change that much from year to year, but better safe than sorry. Planning to use speaker-level inputs for the amplifier. Also the amp I might use has the ability to draw right from the receiver (15amp) and this wire is yellow usually?

I've done plenty of speakers and aftermarket radios in the past but that was before infotainment systems & backup cameras entered in to the picture, so the wiring is a bit more daunting.

Thanks much. Glad I didn't tap in to the yellow wire.

I discovered that it is really tight back there without much slack in the wire. Do you know of a company that makes a T-harness that would make the amp installation a bit easier. Most of the ones I've seen are for older Mazdas.
I looked at this one at Sonic Electronics and wondered if it would suit even though it's to add a camera: Axxess AX-ADDCAM-MAZ2. If not I may just make one.
