I am installing Driving lights in a 2018 Toyota Yaris L. I am wanting to know a source of 12 volt power that is only active with the vehicle on. Any help would be appreciated.

standard key

Ignition        pink      +     ignition switch, white 8 pin plug, pin 6
Second Ignition        lt. blue     +     ignition switch, white 8 pin plug, pin 1
Accessory        blue             +     ignition switch, white 8 pin plug, pin 2

push to start/standard key

Gray + Cig lighter

33 years as a installer now just a retired old guy. Favorite thing to install/topic are remote starts/car alarms. Stop using test lights!!!

Use a relay. Get power from the battery. Use one of the above mentioned wires to trigger the relay.
