Hi, I'm trying to add some auxiliary turn signals to my motorhome that's on a 2006 Ford E-450 chassis. I've already run the turn signal wires into the cab. Now I am looking for the factory wires to tap into. I cannot find a 2006 Ford E-450 on this site, but I looked at some similar vehicles and came up with:

Left front: blue/green
Left rear: grey / brown
Right front: yellow / purple
Right rear: purple / orange

I've looked on both kick panels and I did find a couple wires that looked like they matched one of those, but I did not get any signal from it when turning on the 4 way flashers. (I'm using a logic probe that lights up differently for positive or negative). Am I looking in the right place? Can someone point me closer? I'm attaching photos of the drivers and passengers kick panel area.

Thanks.

Thank you. I found the wires at the turn signal switch, but it is pretty much impossible to tap into them there. I think my only option is to tap at the turn signals themselves, but then I have to figure out how to run that wire back inside the cab. I'm about ready to give up and send these turn signals back to Amazon. :x

might find some info here, starting around page 160... https://madocumentupload.marketingassociates.com/api/Document/GetFile?v1=4726969&v2=020819101026&v3=60&v4=46eb03c701d6a662ee1c882c13ef9cf89bfbf31c2ffd44872b161a3f&v5=False

Look for the 76 pin connector (C219) on the driver side firewall behind the coolant reservoir and to the right of the brake booster.

Pins 23 and 27 should be the turn signals

Thank you, this looks promising. Does anyone know where I can find the connector (CHMSL) referenced in this diagram? I can't tell what I am looking at there. The curve at the top seems like it might be the top of the cab, but that doesn't make sense. I don't think it's the driver's kick area, either. I would love to find this connector, I could use the "customer pass through circuits" for my auxiliary front driving lights I plan to install. Thanks.

The CHMSL is the Center High Mount Stop Lamp that is on the backside of the roof. The diagram you have posted is the driver side B-pillar.

Thank you! So am I reading this correctly, that there will be turn signal wires in that B-pillar also? LG/W and W/LB?

And the B-pillar is the vertical area where the driver's shoulder belt retracts into, right?

The wires could be there yes. B pillar location yes. Wiring may be routed under the driver side sill plate, from
dash area to b-pillar. Being a low point for water, snow etc. to collect, Ford probably didn't make connections there.

Well, weeks after giving up on this project (I was unwilling to take apart the B pillar) I found some wires that indicate left/right turn (and they are isolated from the brakes, which use the same bulb). It's in this grey connector under the dash. BTW this is not the trailer brake connector, that is also down here, it is a black connector.

I found these today when I was looking for a backup light/reverse light wire. Which I have not been able to find. I've tried every blue/white and black/purple wire I can find down here, they are all either 12v all the time, 12v with the key on, or no signal. None of them come on with the reverse lights. So I gave up on that project too. :( I will just turn on the backup camera each time from the menu on my head unit.
