I need the polarity for the headlights on a 2003 Dodge Intrepid.  I am installing headlight flashers on police package Intrepids and need to know if its + like 90 percent of new cars or - like the other 10 percent.  The cars are on order and I need to order parts before they arrive or I'd check myself.  Thanks Jason

You can catch each of the (+) leads for the low beams, Purple and PURPLE / Red, at the relay box.  If you try to tie into them at the switch, you'll need to use a 220 ohm resistor to ground (-) which will do both low beam headlights and parking lights. If you need to tie into the low beams and high beams, your best bet is to catch them directly behind each headlight.

Thanks, I'll be wiring the high beams behind the housing to make them alternate flash.  They have Impalas that are - at the headlight and required a special flasher or a re-wired flasher to operate the high beams.  I am wiring up their new fleet of Intrepids and trying to figure out if I need to order standard + output flashers.  From what you described it sounds as if the highbeam lights are standard + operation at the light.  Thanks
