For some reasons, the wire color of Starter and Ignition wires at the ignition switch are mixed up when comparing iDatalink instruction (and from here) to the Toyota Service Manual (AllData).
Starter 1, according to iDatalink is Blue, while Service Manual saying it's LtGreen
Starter 2, according to iDatalink is LtGreen, while Service Manual saying it's Blue

Ignition 1, according to iDatalink is Black, while Service Manual saying it's Pink
Ignition 2, according to iDatalink is Pink, while Service Manual saying it's Black

Could anyone help me with this?
Thanks

I put more weight on factory diagrams when there is a discrepancy with iDatalink or another aftermarket manufacturer.

That being said, you should always verify with a meter. As long as both starter wires test as starter wires and both ignition wires test as ignition, it shouldn't really matter which one you call primary and secondary.

For starter kill, I would interrupt the smaller, green wire since it controls the relay that allows current from the larger blue wire to flow through. This is just my personal preference and either way will work.

Upon checking on the actual car,

Blue wire is way thicker comparing to LtGreen wire.

Same thing for Ignition wires. Black is thicker than Pink

You can see from the diagram, the Blue wire is going from the 30A fuse while the LtGreen is from the 7.5A fuse. So it makes sense the Blue is Starter 1, according to iDatalink.

So factory diagram is messed up? That's not possible?

I was saying it really doesn't matter if they test the same. My preference, however is to interrupt the lower current (smaller) trigger wire for starter kill.
