Hi, there,

I am installing a crime stopper 2003 DCII alarm system on to my 2001 civic LX. The output for parking light on the alarm system is positive (+). I found the parking light (-) on the green alarm plug. But, I could not locate the parking light (+). Some people said it is above or at the back of the fusebox. Dose anyone can tell me how to locate it?

I appreciate your kind help.

PARKING LIGHTS +|RED / black           |   |back of the fusebox         |

To test for this connection find the target wire and place the red lead on the wire and the black lead to ground. Turn on the parking lights and the DMM will register 12 volts.

Do I need to dismantle the fuse box to access that wire?

no you do not need to dismantle the fuse box the access the wire, the wire is accessible from behind

I finally found that wire in a unused 3-pin plug just above the fuse box.
