Help! I recently purchased a 2002 Honda Civic EX Coupe. The previous owner cut off the factory connector to the in dash cd player. I guess the moron didn't realize adapters exist! I have installed a sony cd player with the metra mounting kit, and I have detemined all the wiring except the constant 12 volt wire. What color is it! I have found several wiring diagrams for my car on the web, but they are all inaccurate! Here are the wires left to choose from:

Yellow w/ green stripe
White w/ red stripe
Red w/ black stripe
Red

Any help from someone with experience on the 2002 civic would be appreciated. I guess they changed the colors from 2001. Thanks.

the constant power wire should be the white w/red stripe wire;  also it should be slightly thicker than the other wires except for the ground wire.

the red w/black stripe is the illumination, and the red is the dimmer.  I recommend you not make those connections though unless you really really really want to have that feature on your head unit (and remember many don't even use that).
