Hi all. I have a 2002 Tahoe w/ factory sub, and would like to run my speakers directly to my non-factory HU. Has anyone bypassed the Bose amp, and if so, can help me out? It's not so much a matter of wiring, but just getting to the amp location. I'd like to get an idea of what I can do to avoid ruining my dash in the process. :)

Thanks!

If it's a bose system then you have to replace the factory bose speakers with aftermarket ones before you can power them using your aftermarket head unit.  Since bose speakers have impedences of 1 ohm but most head units can only handle 4 ohm speakers, they will eventually fry your head unit's built in amplifier.
