I have just purchased a Sony CD changer and am looking for some help.  I've pulled the factory radio and there doesn't seem to be a standard coax antenna lead running to it.  I found what appears to be a coax run that terminates under the driver side dash above the brake pedal.  Also need to know where to pick up +12 and +12/ACC.  Thanks for the help!

I haven't done a 98 in a while, but I'm pretty sure it's basically the same as the newer ones. You can find the normal antenna plug at the module in the left rear area of the trunk. (But you will still need a set of ford antenna adapters and most likely antenna extensions) Pull the side pocket and the carpet and you will see the module. Also note that along the side wall will be a plug with a RED / yellow wire in it. There will also be a blank spot on the right of the module. These 2 plugs are where the factory changer plug in so you might want to consider finding one of those, the install of those is cake. (Assuming you have a CD button on your factory radio.) IF your changer has a VERY long controller cable then you can just mount everything in the trunk and then run the controller up. If not, then you have to mount the FM mod up front somewhere and buy some antenna extension cables and run them from the front to the back.
