I am thinking about buying a 1992 Mazda Mx-3 GS. It has a sunroof but when I test drove it. The sunroof did not work. I tried by pushing the button but all I heard is clicking noising like something was trying to work. Does anybody have any suggestions?

I have an aftermarket sunroof in my 95 Eclipse with a very similar problem. Pushing the button will get it to tilt open, but then it just grinds and clicks when it should start to slide back. Pushing the button to close it tilts it back down, then grinds and clicks until I let off the button, instead of just knowing when to stop on its own.

Any tips on a fix would be appreciated!

Mine want do nothing. You just here licking noises, when I get it back this week or next. I'm going to take the interior roof thing down and see if it is off track or something
