I'm having problems getting th alarm to properly trigger the door locks on an 85 blazer. It's a five-wire isn't it? Am I grabbing the wrong wires?

If your Blazer is a S-Series:

If your Blazer is a 4WD :

I have some mixed notes on the type of system that the Blazer has but it's either a type A or a type B system. Both are 3 wire systems but type B requires 2 relays unless your alarm or remote starter has +/- outputs for the locking and unlocking wires. If it only has a negative out put go here : https://www.the12volt.com/doorlocks/page3.asp#3wp. Good luck and always check your wires to ensure the circuit is what the notes say it is.
