I have been given the job of installing a CD player into my girlfriends old Nova and am trying to find out what the wires are for.

I have got red / black / brown / brown & blue / Brown & yellow / Blue & Yellow / Grey & Green.

Can anybody help me please

Red = + batt. feed

Brown= earth

Black= ign.live +

The last 4 wires are for the front speakers,check which colours go to r/speaker & l/speaker accordingly, if your sticking with the standard dashboard speakers.

Ideally fit door speakers as this will vastly improve the quality of the sound .
