Hi all...Im about to purchase and install a new deck into my 2001 dodge ram pickup....does anyone know if i can connect directly to speaker wires behind dash, or is there and amp in between that i have to bypass..?
If so, is there any way to do that from behind dash?

If you have the Infinity system, then you have an amp, buy you don't have to bypass it to install your new deck. Just juse the kit and harness and you'll be good to go. Be sure to hook up the amp turn on and amp ground if your harness adapter has it.

i dont have the infinity system...does that mean no amp...?
if i do have an amp, i want to install a high powered deck and wouldnt want to use the amp, i dont think i could bypass it just by using the wiring harness??

That's correct- you don't have a factory amp.
