can anyone help please . i,m looking for some imformation on the o.e radio .i.e is there a seprate amp some where and if their is can i use this with an aftermarket system and how . thanks

what radio is in it ? Standard, Audiophile, 6 Disc in dash changer ?

A buddy at work bought an '04 with the Kenwood from the factory (Sirius ready, and 3 preouts I think).  Does yours have this?  I don't think you have an amp.

I think it has a amp because there is a sub under one of the back seats . In my experience if there is a sub there is a seprate amp to power  the sub or to run the sub and the full range speakers .

You're correct.  If you have a factory sub, you have a factory amp.  You can still probably get a harness.  I'd just wire it up to utilize the factory amp first.  If you get a hissing sound, bypass it.
