What do you mean by unused connectors?

The plugs are possibly for options not on your car at time of sale.

Ex: Fog Lamps, Cruise Control, Air Conditioning.

They use the same harness to cut down on cost. You wouldnt want 10 or so different harnesses for the same model car.

Where abouts are the plugs located?

The unused plugs are just connecters that come from the harness and arn't connected to anything.

I'm primarly interested in a unused plug that's almost between the glove box and the heater blower. it's underneth the dash board and looks like a glovebox light or somthing. the other is on the ciggeret plug, not the round one ( the one you disconect to take the center console off), there is two wires for the ciggeret plug and then two more unconected wires in the same plug. Could this be a ashtray light ?

By the way, it has A/C, Cruise, automatic

I forgot to metion that i'm also intrested in the unused connectors on the fuse panel. I looked in a 89 service manual but all it says is "option".

I'd like to know what they are for so mabye i can get the options and or get a "ignition on" signal for an amp or somthing.
