I am having troubles installing a remote start in a 1996 Concord, upon remote start, non of the gauges work until the key is inserted, and it runs rough, once the key is inserted, all the gauges come to life, but the check engine light comes on and remains on. I have searched for a second ignition wire, and found the Red with White wires, but they test as 12volt constant's, not ignitions, should they be hooked up as ignitions? also I found a black with white strip wire that tests as a constant, but it does nothing hooked up as a second ignition wire.
Thanks.
