Before you attempt to install your alarm are you aware of the transponder on the vehicle and the databus. If not you may want to think about letting a shop install your alarm. On the other hand if you want adventure out there you I can sell you the transponder or databus device needed to make your alarm function with the truck. Let me know

The transponder wont be a problem, the owner of the car had a basic key made at home depot and it works to start the car so it isnt equipped with a transponder. All i need is the colors for the ignition and accesory wires. Anyone out there have them??????

That's because they don't come with transponders. That vehicle has passlock 2 and you will need a passlock 2 bypass. Passlock 2 doesn't have ANYTHING in the keys themselves and they can be started with any cut key, as you mentioned. Good luck,
Mike

Thanks NowYaKNow. I guess it takes two people to let a person know that they need transponder bypass. The actual transponder is more or less a resistor located in the ignition cyclinder of the truck. When you start the vehicle a resistence is sent to the module to activate the fuel pump. If the incorrect resistance is sent more than three times the system WILL LOCK YOU OUT FOR 30 to 60 minutes. You will need resistors and a relay or a transponder bypass. PM me for more info or check your local install shop out for a passlock II device.

YOU WILL ALSO NEED A 456G MADE BY DEI TO MAKE YOUR DOORLOCKS WORK AND IT ALSO DISARMS YOUR FACTORY ALARM
