Recently installed a Prestige APS-15kb on a 1997 Chevy Z71 Silverado. Everything else works but the door lock and unlock features. Any reason why other than the wrong wires. Do I need the AS 9159 door lock interface from prestige? Plus looking into window roll up module, any clues on that?

How did you wire up the door locks ? Do you have OEM keyless entry or no ? You do not need an interface from Prestige, you can make your own with two relays if you need to. The window modules are easy to install but you need to access the wires between the switch and the motor.

  • LF WINDOW UP/DN|dk. blue - brown   
  • RF WINDOW UP/DN|light blue - tan 
  • LR WINDOW UP/DN|green - purple
  • RR WINDOW UP/DN|lt. grn - pur/wht
