Whats up everyone. i had anotehr quesion. Does anyone know the best way and wire colors, etc for hooking up the DEI 555U immobilizer on this car? Also, its a manual. Im hooking up a Aladin 2000 alarm/remote start combo on it so im still a little stumped about how im gonna go about doing that. I hooked up a Avital on a older civic that was a manual, but i just ran the starter wire directly to the starter to make that work. i wanna avoid doing that in this car. Thanks. ~Ed

Whats up, to override the starter so that it will crank off the starter wire you must do this. Get a SPDT relay connect terminal 86 to a (-when remotely started output of alarm), then find the parking brake wire that is +12V when engaged and hook to terminal 85, then locate the two wires off the clutch and tap into both hooking the ignition side of the switch to terminal 87 and the starter side to terminal 30, this way when the parking brake is engaged and the car is remotely started it will allow the vehicle to start directly from the wires at the ignition switch.
