Can someone tell me if I've located the correct tach wire. On the passenger side of the engine, 3 wires forms a plug which is plugged into the control module (i think). WHITE/ black (tach), white, and some other color. I need to know if this is the correct area.

The tach wire is the WHITE at the ignition coil.
Ignition Coil And Distributor Module Both Located On Passenger Side Of Engine
Vehicle is equipped with PASSLOCK II Anti-theft system.
Ignition #2 PNK/WHITE or WHITE Powers the PCM in the Vehicle and Must Be Active in Both " Start" and "Run".

Seems like you installed the CS423 on a 2000 Blazer before. I also went to your web site and you also have it for sale. Anyways, I do a have few more questions if you have the time.

1. The brake wires seems very difficult to get to. Especially to strip. I only have a few inches of wire that I can see much less get both hands in. How would you recommend stripping these? I was thining about using a cigarette to melt the sleeves off. I am very worried about screwing things up.

2. Where is the best place to run the tach wire through?

3. Where is the best place to mount a siren? I bought a separate siren for a quiet chirp instead of using the OEM horn. 12voltshop.com told me I need to buy a relay for it to work. I assumed the connection would be the same.
