I have a factory installed alarm in my 94 civic.  I bought one of those Pager alarms that connect to an existing alarm system, and connected it up with the factory system (door triggers, etc)   EXCEPT for the most important wire.  I cant find the wire that Grounds when the alarm is engaged.  If you dont get what im saying.....I need to know which wire (Where more like it) I can tap into so that the pager moduel knows when to shut on and off.

I tested all the wires coming out of the back of the factory moduel, but none of them ground when I activate the factory alarm.  I could easily ground the pager to the car, but have the pager go crazy everytime i get into my car is dumb.     Is the wire im looking for hidden somewhere? Any help would rock.

Hmmm, I've heard the alarms and stereos in civics are tricky.  When you pull out the stereo, isn't the alarm on top of it? (built-in so to speak)?  I wonder if the shut-down wire you're looking for could be built into the stereo's wiring?

Someone can probably add to this.

How does your factory alarm arm and disarm? With a key? A remote? If by remote, does it have keyless entry?
